If World War Three does actually kick off, one of the safest places to be is undoubtedly the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. Unfortunately, there’s one glaring issue: You’ll have to share it with Cheeto in Chief himself, Donald Trump.
With countless genocides going on across the globe, and Putin still marching on with his invasion of Ukraine, it seems more and more likely that WW3 could kick off. Let’s face it, if it does happen, we’re all proboably cooked, with the one per cent sequestering themselves in bunkers and away from us mere mortals. Still, if you do find yourself in El Paso County, Colorado, ask Donald if he can squeeze you into the Cheyenne Mountain Complex – it’s pretty cool.
What is the Cheyenne Mountain Complex?

In the event that so-called world leaders finally lose their cool and doom us all, there are very few places that could actually withstand the lovely little weapons we humans have created to kill each other. One such space is the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, the North American Aerospace Defence Command’s (NORAD) highly secure, highly classified base.
NewsNation recently gained an exclusive look inside the bunker, first built in 1966 for the grand total of $142.4 million. It’s said that the complex can withstand a nuclear blast of multiple megatons, one thousand times stronger than Hiroshima, even if it is dropped near the bunker itself.

According to the report, the bunker functions as a self-contained city of sorts, with its own power plant, heating and cooling systems, and underground lakes to provide water. Though exact details were not revealed, it’s said that the Cheyenne Mountain Complex has enough food supplies to last for “a very long time.” But do they have mozzarella sticks is the bigger question.
Across 5.1 acres and 15 buildings that are built into the mountain, in the event of WW3, the bunker would serve as a base of operations for both high-ranking US and Canadian officials. It’s pretty darn safe, too, able to withstand nuclear, chemical, biological, radiological, cyberterrorism, and electromagnetic attacks.

NewsNation’s Brian Entin got inside the ultra-secure bunker that can withstand a nuclear blast 1,000 times stronger than Hiroshima. Now here’s the real kicker. While we’re all blistering under nuclear winter and trying to find our vapes amongst the rubble – the iconic frantic pat just isn’t going to do it – Donald Trump and his buddies will be chowing down in the “safest resturant in the world.” That’s right, folks, the Cheyenne Mountain Complex has its very own functioning Subway.
“It is truly worth whatever they paid for it back in the early ’60s, and we are using it today just as they did the decades before,” General Gregory Guillot, commander of NORAD, told the publication.
I reckon if we ask really, really nicely, they might let us in.
