South African political leader Julius Malema celebrated a special milestone as his eldest son, Ratang Moshabi Malema, turned 19.
In a heartfelt birthday message shared online, the EFF Commander-in-Chief reflected on the profound impact his son has had on his life, crediting him for teaching him the true meaning of family and love.
“Happy Birthday, Moshabi. I can’t believe you are turning 19 on this day. You changed my life in all respects and taught me to value family. Your brothers are beneficiaries of your teachings to your father.”
Malema shared his pride in watching his son grow into a strong and kind young man, describing him as “the greatest being I have ever met” and “a brother of mine I have never had.”
“You’ve taught me so much about love, patience and pride, and every day I’m amazed by your strength, kindness and determination. I don’t know where I would have been without you.”
The proud father went on to express deep gratitude for his son’s love and maturity, saying he trusted him completely with his own life and that of his younger brothers.
“The world is yours, you are in charge. I can trust you with my life and that of your brothers. I’ll always support you every step of the way because I owe it to my mother and my grandmother.”
He ended his message with a touching note of pride and encouragement:
“Happy 19th, my son, the mini-me. I’m very proud of you, and please stay focused.”
