Ronnie O’Sullivan is in line to return to the table competitively for the first time since the Saudi Arabia Masters in August.

The Rocket was in brilliant form in Jeddah, making two 147 breaks in the semis before losing to Neil Robertson in the final.

Judd Trump is also among the huge names in action this week as the World No1 looks to claim his first title of the season.

The Ace was beaten 10-8 by Kyren Wilson in the inaugural Xi’an Grand Prix final last year.

Shaun Murphy arrives in China as the man in form after the Magician claimed the 13th ranking title of his career by winning the British Open last month.
