After Lily Allen dropped the most savage album of the year, airing out her David Harbour dirty laundry for the world to see, the tragic story of Christin Croft resurfaced.
Back in 2015, 29-year-old Christin Croft jumped from David Harbour’s Manhattan apartment, dying on impact. She had been staying there while he was filming a film in Canada, and a suicide note was discovered by police inside the residence.
“She was in the shelter system. I was trying to help her out,” David said at the time, calling her lovely. “I’m very confused, I don’t understand how this happened. She seemed to be a lovely person. It’s a terrible tragedy. I’m very shaken by this.”
Though her information was kept private at the time, including how she knew the Stranger Things actor, her family have now spoken out for the first time.

Marlon Martindale, 47, who is married to Christin Croft’s cousin Duana, recently spoke to the MailOnline about Christin being in “good spirits” before she jumped from David Harbour’s NYC apartment.
Despite seemingly being well in the lead-up to the suicide, Marlon did acknowledge Christin’s battle with mental health as she attempted to “get her life together.”
He explained: “She was working hard and trying to get her daughter back at the time. They were working on getting back that mother-daughter bond when she died.”

It’s still not known precisely how David Harbour and Christin Croft met, but an anonymous family member said she was constantly “networking” to get ahead in the music scene. Marlon confirmed this, revealing a conversation he’d had with her.
“She spoke of her friend who had a nice apartment in Manhattan, who was an actor. She mentioned she’d be hanging out there and sometimes staying overnight when they were out late,” he said.
“They were good friends. They’d do a lot of networking together. He helped her meet people in acting and music. She was friendly, always trying to get her foot in the door with rappers, singers, producers and directors. That’s how they met, through that circle.”
He had no knowledge of Christin being in the shelter system, claiming she had plenty of friends to stay with.
