Amy Kenyon and Luke Debono’s marriage came to a rather memorable ending on MAFS UK 2024. But even after Amy declared their relationship “done, dead, deceased”, they threw shade at each other months later. Luke and Amy had very different responses to their break-up on TV
Once MAFS was over, Amy went into more detail about why she ended things with Luke. She didn’t hold back.
She wrote on her Instagram story: “I felt everything was just a performance to him and I really felt that with the cameras going off and on. One minute he was love sick, head over heels Romeo. As soon as the cameras were off he was like a stranger. I struggled as it made me feel uncomfortable and not genuine.”
Luke’s final thoughts were a lot vaguer. He wrote on Instagram: “Sometimes, life takes us on different paths, and that’s okay. Even though two people can be different, it doesn’t mean they can’t still find happiness in their own way.”

Amy got super close to Adam and it was all very confusing
Erm, earlier this year, Amy kept posting pics with her fellow MAFS 2024 participant Adam Nightingale and dropping vague comments about the nature of their relationship. It was a strange time to be alive.
Adam and Amy went on plenty of big nights out together. The world was stunned when they made a TikTok video… in bed together. A month ago, they went on an eight-day-long romantic cruise from Miami to Bimini together. I am not making this up.

In the MAFS reunion that aired in February, Amy confessed she wasn’t sure whether she was into him or not. Adam, meanwhile, joked they “some little mini Adams” or at least “practice” that. Lovely.
After this, Amy did formally friendzone Adam at long sweet last. During a Q&A session on Instagram, a MAFS viewer asked: “Is there a romantic future for you and Adam? Please answer on behalf of the nation.” Amy resplied: “Just a really amazing friendship. Sorry to disappoint you all.”
Amy still shades Luke every now and then
During an Q&A in March, an Insta user asked Amy: “Have you spoken to whatever his name/face was?”
Her response was delightfully mean. “No, I have not or never will speak to b****e terroriser/he who shall not be named xox.” Fair enough.
Apparently, Amy isn’t the only MAFS UK 2024 cast member not on speaking terms with Luke anymore. He told The Sun he didn’t talk to a single one of the cast anymore. Really. “I did see somebody in passing, Polly – before she moved to Australia. But otherwise everyone else is from different geographical places.” Ah, if only there was a way to communicate with people, say, on a phone.
Luke found love in a very unusual way
Luke occupied his time by posing topless for an advert for a pizza-scented perfume. I am not making this up.
Er, so Luke has had one new love interested in his life. The story of how they got together is absolutely wild.
Apparently, he spoke to someone online for months, then flew to Lake Iseo in Lombardy for a week-long first date.

Luke has alluded to being in a relationship by captioning Instagram pics with “date night” and “a very special night”. However, he has not shared any photographic evidence of who has been on these dates with.
