Serial harasser Johnson Wen was jailed this week after going viral for essentially jumping Ariana Grande at the Universal Studios Wicked event in Singapore.
The 26-year-old, who also goes by Pyjama Man, has a long history of harassing celebrities for viral moments. He jumped on stage with The Weeknd and Katy Perry on two separate occasions, streaked across the pitch at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and delayed the 100m Olympic Final in Paris by jumping over the barricade.
The most recent example came on November 13, when Johnson Wen nearly tackled Ariana Grande at the Wicked event. He wrapped his arms around her and wrote in the caption of the video: “Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You.”
The moment was widely slammed online, with both Ariana and Cynthia visibly rattled by the unprovoked attack on the yellow carpet. Karma has now bitten back, and Pyjama Man is in jail.

Johnson Wen was jailed for nine days
Johnson Wen was arrested for his antics at the Wicked event, but he boasted about being released on November 14. The BBC later revealed that he’d been charged with public nuisance by the Singapore court, pleading guilty.
Ahead of the sentencing, Johnson was looking at a potential three-month prison stint and a fine of S$2000, which is roughly equivalent to £1170. Instead, the judge sentenced him to just nine days behind bars.
“This act was premeditated,” Singapore District Judge Christopher Goh said, highlighting a “pattern of behaviour, which suggests that you will do it again.”
He added: “You seem to be attention seeking, thinking only of yourself and not the safety of others when committing these acts. You should be mindful that there are always consequences for one’s actions.”
When asked if he had anything to say, and despite early stating he would not stop his trolling ways, Johnson Wen offered this grovelling apology to the court: “I won’t do it again, Your Honour.”
He also said that he’s going to “stop getting into trouble”, but that is yet to be seen.
