Family and colleagues are gathering today to lay to rest the renowned media personality and businessman, Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock.
The funeral follows a tragic incident in the Johannesburg CBD last week, where the broadcaster was fatally shot.
The South African Police Service has made significant progress in the investigation, confirming the arrest of two suspects. Both individuals are due to appear in court this Wednesday to face formal charges of murder.
Warrick Stock was a titan of South African broadcasting, famously known as “The Shady Lurker.” His career was defined by high-profile stints at 5FM and Gagasi FM, as well as a long tenure hosting the popular television music show, LIVE Amp.
Beyond the studio, he was a respected entrepreneur who successfully transitioned from the airwaves into various business ventures.
