Love Island Games has just given us a very awkward reunion, as exes Gabby and Casey are now in the villa together for the show. They won the last season of Love Island All Stars, but broke up not long after.
Now, they’ve both been cast on Games, and are having to live together. On the show, they admitted they hadn’t spoken to or seen each other since breaking up, and their first interaction together was very, very awkward and strange.
The pair were in the bathroom in the villa, after they both turned up. They had no idea they were being cast on the show at the same time. But, they seemed overly comfortable and were laughing with one another. People in the comments have claimed this isn’t how exes would behave, and have questioned if their whole romance was actually fake.

“It’s weird. It’s like the first time we’ve properly seen each other since we haven’t been together,” Casey said to Gabby in the clip. “It is weird isn’t it,” she replied. “We’re just in Fiji instead.” Casey replied: “Yeah. With a bunch of Americans. It’s fine. Like, I’m fine. And I hope you are.” Gabby replied “yeah” and they both laughed.
People have questioned if the chillness of their interaction means there weren’t really any feelings involved with them in the first place. One person said: “Like, what actually happened with them?”. Another added: “This is weird.”
A third said: “Nahhh I feel like they still are together or something because they’re so comfy together like whattt.” Lots of people think they’re going to get back together, and plan to win the show all over again.
Before Games, Gabby and Casey won the All Stars version of Love Island together, at the start of this year. Then, it became an ongoing joke that Gabby was waiting a while for Casey to make it official with her. Then, just weeks after it was revealed they had become girlfriend and boyfriend – it was all over.
“After much thoughtful consideration, Gabby and Casey have decided to go their separate ways romantically. This decision was mutual, and they both remain on good terms as friends with a shared respect for each other,” a source said.
So, what’s going on now?
