Ultra South Africa returns with another banger edition for 2026. Returning over a massive long weekend, the global festival will take place at Johannesburg’s Nasrec Expo Centre on Saturday, 25 April then head to Cape Town’s The Ostrich on Sunday, 26 April.
Leading the charge on the Main Stage is a heavyweight lineup stacked with global crowd favourites. Tech house powerhouse John Summit is set to bring his signature party energy, while French hitmaker DJ Snake returns with his genre bending anthems.
Progressive house icon Axwell adds timeless festival nostalgia to the mix, and a special back to back set from Afrojack and R3hab promises pure main stage chaos.
Supporting acts like Apashe, Kyle Watson, DJ Kent, TiMO ODV b2b Kyle Cassim, Indigo, Headroom b2b Geometric Flux, Niskerone b2b Dakota and Kurt April round out a lineup that balances global impact with local excellence.
Over on the RESISTANCE Stage, underground culture takes centre stage. New York legend Dennis Ferrer and South Africa’s Shimza headline a stacked bill that leans deep into house and techno energy.
They are joined by Major League DJz, Caiiro b3b De Capo b3b Enco Napa b3b, Kitty Amor, Mpho.Wav, Mila Rose, Baby Whitz and Kid Fonque, delivering sounds for the heads who like it raw and rhythmic.
Johannesburg also welcomes the return of The Groove Room, a dedicated celebration of African electronic music featuring Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Liquideep, Dlala Thukzin, Oscar Mbo, DJ Lag x Que DJ, Sun El Musician and more.
