ABOUT THE COMPANY

Truworths is a South African fashion retailer with more than 728 stores throughout the country and 49 throughout the rest of Africa. Forming part of the Truworths International Retail Group, which includes other retail stores such as Uzzi, YDE and Identity.

ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP

The Truworths learnership programme will expand over a 12 month period whereby students will work in a Truworths store. Students will be required to work according to the stores trading hours, including weekends.

Some of the key responsibilities students will face includes: assisting customers, payments and purchases, stock control, opening new accounts, merchandising and customer feedback.

The company seeks students who wish to gain knowledge and working experience within the Fashion/ Retail sector.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• South African citizen
• Completed Matric
• Good communication skills
• Willing to learn
• Willing to work retail hours
• Committed
• Customer service orientated
