A TROUBLED Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer has been banned for three months with immediate effect for ‘non-sporting offences’.

David Cottin has been denied the right to appeal the verdict handed down by France Galop, according to Paris Turf.

Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer David Cottin has been hit with an immediate three-month ban that he has been blocked from appealing[/caption]

Cottin, who was previously banned after horses in his yard failed drugs tests, cannot have another runner until late September.

The French handler saddled the JP McManus-owned Easysland to Cross Country Chase success at the 2020 Festival.
