Toyota Learner Maintenance Learnership 2026
Toyota is offering a structured Learnership Programme aimed at unemployed youth passionate about engineering, mechanical work, production, and manufacturing. This programme provides practical, hands-on workplace training while earning an accredited qualification.
Successful candidates will complete an NQF Level 3 certification upon completion of the learnership.
What the Learnership Covers
Learners will receive training in:
- Working effectively in a team
- Safety and the use of hand tools
- Assembly and manufacturing
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Marking off
- Welding
- Operating and monitoring production machinery

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- National Technical Certificate (N3 ā N6)
- OR Matric/Technical Matric with:
- Mathematics and Physical Science or Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory or Mechanical Trade Theory or Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing or Graphical Design
