Top bakery chain with ‘best bagels ever’ is going to DOUBLE number of UK locations

A BAGEL chain sets its sights on doubling the number of its cafes by 2023 as its prepares to opens its newest store in London this month.

With six stores across London, including in Soho, Chelsea, Highgate and Tottenham Court Road, the bakery is looking to have 20 cafes by 2023.

Serving freshly baked bagels with a range of fillings from smoked salmon to plant-based cream cheese, the expansion of the the bakery chain follows the recent appointing of it operations director, Nicholas Brown.

Yoav Baumgarten, founder of B Bagel, said: “Our New Oxford Street store comes at a key time with Christmas just around the corner and I know our team there will be excited to bring even more Londoners our freshly baked bagels with a sprinkling of festive spirit on top.

“Nicholas brings some great experience and is a significant hire for the business, showing our intent to continue to grow. I know he will be key in working with me and the team to shape this next phase.”

The B Bagel was founded by Yoav Baumgarten and Alon Kubi in 2015 to serve people freshly baked on-site bagels with no preservatives or additives.

The chain’s latest store will open its doors on London’s New Oxford Street on October 27.

The store will be filled with bagels, smoothies and salads – all with a vegetarian and plant-based option.

B Bagel has began expanding its operations, with the appointment of Nicholas Brown – who brings experience from casual dining and quick service restaurant brands such as Yo! Sushi, Domino’s, and Wimpy.

Dave’s Hot chicken is another food chain that has seen significant growth with plants to open 57 restaurants in the UK.

The popular US fast food brand first started in London as a huge success, attracting over 1,000 customers a day since opening in December.

The chain has already expanded to Manchester and Birmingham, with more openings planned.

Shake Shack, which started out as a hotdog cart, recently opened its first restaurant inside a UK train station.
