‘There’s no way’ – Fans baffled as Michail Antonio interrupts FA Cup draw to do popular meme as they say ‘game’s gone’

FOOTBALL fans believe the “game’s gone” after Michail Antonio referenced a popular meme LIVE during the FA Cup first round draw.

The West Ham legend was pulling out the away teams in the draw while Joel Ward, who captained Crystal Palace to the trophy last season, drew the home teams.

And just before the halfway point of the draw, Antonio stunned fans as he made a reference to the “6 7” meme currently dominating social media.

After Ward, 35, pulled out number 67, Slough Town, Antonio pulled out the away teams ball.

But before revealing who he had drawn, the 35-year-old was seen saying the two numbers 6, 7, while waving his arms up and down either side of him.

Fans watching the draw took a moment to clock on to what Antonio was referencing, before it sparked laughter from the crowd in attendance at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “There’s no way Michail Antonio has just done 6 7 during an FA Cup draw.”

A second said: “Michail Antonio did not just say 6 7 in the fa cup draw THIS MAN IS THIRTY FIVE YEARS OLD.”

A third added: “Michail Antonio just did a 67 joke on the FA Cup 1st round draw. That’s the tweet.”

Another tweeted an image of Sean Dyche saying, “the games gone” – a reference to another popular meme which the former Everton and Burnley boss has become the poster boy of.

As it turns out, the team Antonio drew from the hat was Altrincham or Harborough Town.

The “6, 7” meme is a reference to the song Doot Doot by Skrilla.

It was popularised by basketball players using it, particularly Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball who is 6ft 7in tall.
