The Vince Staples Show, a darkly comedic limited series from the mind of rapper, actor, and producer Vince Staples, returns for a second season on Friday, 6 November 2025, on Netflix.
Season 1 of the Vince Staples Show premiered on Netflix in February 2024.
The series is created by Staples, Ian Edelman, and Maurice Williams, and is executive produced by Kenya Barris, Staples, Corey Smyth, William Stefan Smith, Andrea Sperling, and Leonard Chang.
Vanessa Bell Calloway and Naté Jones join Staples as recurring guest stars.
Season 2 will have 6 episodes.
The satirical comedy series, featuring a fictionalized Vince Staples, picks up in the wake of the death of his Uncle James (Beau Billingslea), as he sets off on a road trip with his mother, Anita (Vanessa Bell Calloway), and sister, Bri (Naté Jones). As the journey unfolds, Vince searches for inner peace but finds himself constantly confronted by unresolved baggage from his past.
Vince Staples explains that the series has room to keep going because every episode is rooted in “what it’s like to just exist day-to-day.” Playing a version of himself, Staples adds that “literally anything” could be next for Vince, since “anything could happen at any moment—that’s just how life works.”
