CELEBRITY Traitors star Joe Marler has quit his hit podcast after five years on air.
The England rugby ace, who was recently at the heart of a hilarious blunder on the BBC spin-off series, has revealed his huge career change.

Joe posted an emotional message on Instagram in which he revealed his departure from Things People Do, a show which dubs itself as “the podcast about ordinary people and the extraordinary things they do.”
Alongside Tom Fordyce, the pair interviewed inspirational people across the nation in dialogue which Joe, 35, said was full of “chats, laughs and the odd awkward silence.”
Now he has called time on the show that saw him meet everyone from astronauts to cheese makers, and prison guards to marine biologists.
In a text post uploaded to his grid, Joe wrote: “Alright you lovely lot.
“So … it’s time for me to say goodbye, or maybe just see you later.
“After a lot of chats, laughs and the odd awkward silence, my time on Things People Do has come to an end.
“When we started this thing I honestly didn’t know what it would become.
“I just wanted to talk to interesting people about what makes them tick – and maybe figure out a few things about myself along the way.
“And somehow it turned into this community of brilliant weirdoes who have listened, messaged and stuck with us through it all.
“Ive loved doing it – every guest, every chat, every laugh, every moment where I have thought ‘what am I doing here?’
“It’s been a privilege to meet people from all walks of life and hear what they do and why they do it.
“And it’s been even better knowing so many of you have been along for the ride.”
The sports ace added: “So thank you.

Fans and followers were quick to react to the significant news, and one put: “All the best for future ventures!!”
Another confessed: “Thanks for all the company on long drives! I learnt so much about so many different people.”
A third, who starred on the pod, put: “Ah! It was an absolute joy to have been a guest on your show Joe! You inspired me to start my own! I wish you all the best with your future adventures!”
One then added: “A brilliant podcast, loved every minute! Big love to Joe and Tom and all the best in future adventures.”
TRAITOR TRIALS
Yet his fans can currently get their fix of Joe on-screen.
He is one of the 19 famous faces taking part in the first celebrity version of the hit BBC show.
The first episode threw the celebrities in at the deep end straightaway, with host Claudia Winkleman welcoming them to a graveyard full of headstones bearing their names.
She explained that they would all have to dig their own graves to try and find a shield, and the first six celebrities to locate one would be safe from the first murder.
Keen to avoid being the first to meet their maker, the celebrities were primed and ready, so when Claudia finished counting down, they all pounced on their graves and started digging with their hands or whatever they could find.
But eagle-eyed Traitors viewers saw that Joe channelled his former rugby days and dived on the grass, not the grave.
Sharing a boomerang of the moment on X, they wrote: “Love how Joe Marler just threw himself on the ground, nowhere near the grave.”
However, it could have been more of a tactic than a blunder on Joe’s part, as he was seen seconds later using a shovel to dig through the mud on his grave, rather than his hands.
Meanwhile, others have been left convinced he’s clocked broadcaster Jonathan Ross’ Traitor identity.
Celebrity Traitors will run for nine episodes, ultimately concluding on October 31.
