A SEEMINGLY normal house on the outside has some very quirky features visible after you step through the front door.
The eccentric home in Shropshire has hit the market for £124,000.

The kitchen has a more conventional layout, with no toilets visible[/caption]

A house in Shropshire has gone on sale with an exposed toilet at the top of the stairs – leaving its users in full view of anyone nearby.
The first floor bog has no door or walls to mask the sights, sounds and smells that could occur when it’s occupied.
It’s a dream come true for anyone prospective buyers seeking a live studio audience experience on the loo.
The person who chose to design their toilet in full view of anyone coming upstairs is unknown.
But the property, on Birch Road, Ellesmere, seems absolutely normal when spotted from the street.
Despite its lack of boundaries, the two-bed has been described by estate agents as “quirky and characterful.”
The mid-terrace town cottage has a kitchen and dining room, living room, master bedroom and study or second bedroom.
But its best feature is a large garden space, which expands to around 100 square feet.
The property listing OnTheMarket reads: “A quirky and characterful 1/2 bedroom mid-terrace town cottage boasting a range of traditional features and excellent gardens.
“It’s conveniently situated on the edge of the north Shropshire lakeland town of Ellesmere.
“Internally, the property offers a deceptive amount of characterful living accommodation retaining many original features.
“Externally, the property provides excellent gardens which have been much improved by the current vendors.
“They now comprise a number of distinct areas.
“These are, briefly: a raised decking area, children’s play area, attractive gazebo, and bark chipped area with garden storage shed.”
The website doesn’t make specific reference to the easy-access bog, however.
Instead it specifies: “A low flush WC, pedestal hand basin separate.”
But members of the public who’ve scoped out the property are fascinated by the viewer-friendly toilet.
One stated: “I never thought open-plan bedroom toilets would catch on but they have.
“The whole place is just weird.”
Another said: “I genuinely have nightmares like this.”
One other added: “If you really wanted to squeeze in a loo upstairs, based on the floor plan, surely you’d switch the loo and basin around?”
Halls Estate agents are advertising the property for sale by private treaty.
