These full-time permanent roles offer hands-on technical experience, equipment servicing, installations, preventative maintenance, and customer support within a well-established technology and weighing systems company.

About the Role
Apprentice/Technicians will perform equipment repairs, installations, verifications, and maintenance. Successful candidates will also support corporate customers, apply SABS Quality Standards, and ensure equipment functionality at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and fixes according to calls logged on the system
- Verify and seal scales as per NRCS/SABS Quality Standards
- Order required spares and resolve equipment faults
- Install software and ensure correct operation of equipment at new sites
- Maintain Service Level Agreements with corporate clients
- Sell labels and equipment where applicable
- Conduct 6-month preventative maintenance on contracted scales
- Maintain standard Teraoka equipment
- Report completed tasks to the Branch Office and Helpdesk
Minimum Requirements
To apply, candidates must have:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Physical Science
OR - N3 with Mathematics & Physical Science
- Age: 18 – 28 years
- Valid Driver’s Licence AND own vehicle (Compulsory)
- Technical experience (advantageous)
