Last year, Iceland released its XXL pigs in blankets range – and it didn’t disappoint.
It proved to be a hit with customers, with one reviewer saying: “The whole family loved these, really succulent sausages, really good value for money and so tasty!”
Another commented: “Amazing! Proper sausages wrapped in ridiculous amount of bacon!”
A third penned: “A lot bigger than I thought it would be and a very nice taste and easy to cook. Would recommend to anyone who can’t resist a good pig in blanket.”
Meanwhile, Aldi launched their own version of a massive pig in blanket that was over SIX FOOT long.
The giant porker measures 6ft 5in in length, or a whopping two metres long.
The pig in blanket was coiled into a swirl so you can easily cook it in the oven before eating it by either unravelling it or cutting it up.
