RUGBY League fans, that time of year is finally here, as the season reaches its climax.

Sky Sports have not held back as the 30th year of the Super League season draws to a close – it’s sure to be a belter.

When is the Super League Grand Final 2025?

Last year’s final drew in the highest attendance at the Rugby League final since 2017, as 68,173 were in attendance to see Wigan Warriors take on Hull KR.

And here’s hoping this year will be no different as Hull and Wigan lock horns once again, with the latter making the final for the third year on the the trot.

But, the stakes are even higher this time out.

Hull aim to end Wigan’s dominance in the sport, after the Warriors became the first team in Super League history to win all four major trophies in the same year.

But, only time will tell as the Super League Grand Final gets underway on Saturday, October 11, kicking off at 6pm.

Who are the Super League Grand Final 2025 commentators?

The Super League Final will once again take place at Old Trafford, with both teams hoping their performance in the Theatre of Dreams proves a nightmare for their opponents.

Overseeing the night’s events will be a batch of Sky Sports’ finest commentators and pundits.

While the line-up has not yet been confirmed, Rugby League fans will be accustomed to Sky Sport’s usual bunch of tele folk.

Former professional rugby league Barrie “Baz” McDermott, who has played at Oldham, Wigan, the Leeds Rhinos, Bramley and the Widnes Vikings, is also set to feature.

Following retirement, Barrie worked for Leeds Rhinos and regularly works for Sky Sports, both as a pundit at live games and as an off-field character, where he regularly appears in light-hearted features with long-time friend Terry O’Connor.

The former English professional rugby league Jon “Wilko” Wilkin started his career at Hull KR, and while at St Helens, played in Super League finals between 2008 and 2011.

In 2022, Wilkin joined Sky Sports to become one of the pundits for their Rugby League coverage.

With a Rugby League playing career spanning from 1997 to 2009, Jon Wells transitioned to a media role as an occasional Sky Sports rugby league pundit in 2011.

Since then, he has become a regular fixture in their lineup.

How can I watch the Super League Grand Final 2025?

With so much at stake as Wigan go for their own three-peat, Sky Sports have pulled out all the stops to showcase the grand final.

The final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and can be streamed via the NOW app/website.

For those without Sky Sports, they will be able to catch up on the action during a highlights show of the match, which will be shown on BBC Two the following day.
