The Big Breakwich Spud has been dubbed the ultimate hangover cure as it combines two of the nation’s most popular meals.
The loaded jacket potato comes complete with sausage, bacon, hash browns, eggs, cheese and ketchup.
There is also the option to add beans to your spud.
The cult sandwich chain was inspired to make this dish after conducting research that revealed fry-ups and jacket potatoes to be among the most popular post-party recovery meals.
40 per cent combat their hangovers with a fry up with 22 per cent opt for a hearty spud.
The research also found that 91 per cent of Brits find comfort in carbs, with a staggering 77 per cent craving a jacket potato after a night out.
A large percentage of Brits also claim they would find comfort in the smell of jacket potato alone after a heavy night.
In addition to offering its customers a carby hangover cure, Subway also hopes this new menu item will become a convenient post-night out option.
This comes after the research showed that 87 per cent of Gen Z skip breakfast entirely after partying because they simply “couldn’t face cooking.”
In a bid to provide a solution to this, Subway is touring 20 UK university cities this month to hand out the new spuds to tired students and hungry locals.
The Big Breakwich isn’t the only new spud to be introduced to the menu.
Subway has launched a whole array of new jacket potatoes.
The line up ranges from meat option to vegetarian and even offers deli inspired spuds.
Alongside classic fillings like beans and cheese and tuna mayo, customers can also opt for honey mustard BBQ, Philly Steak and Cheese, and even Meatball Marinara and cheese.
From the deli spud-enthusiasts can choose from the Classic B.M.T, and Spicy Italian and Cheese, as well as a classic ham and cheese option.
Among the more adventurous fillings is the Chicken Tikka and Cheese spud and the Tex Mexan jacket potato.
With regards to vegetarian flavours, Guacamole and Cheese and Plant Patty and Cheese are also new to the menu.
