Sunday night’s Results Show came after Movie Week and all the celebrities dancing their third routines.

At the end of Saturday’s live show, former Emmerdale actor Lewis Cope had topped the leaderboard, while TV presenter Ross King found himself at the bottom with 19 points.
During the Results Show, it was revealed Ross and his partner Jowita Przystał would be in the dance off, and would perform his Paso Doble to the Thunderbirds theme tune again.
However, he wasn’t up against Chris Robshaw, who had finished just above him on the leaderboard, as he was saved by the public.
Instead, he was joined by EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, who had finished fourth from the bottom on Saturday with 26 points.
Balvinder and partner Julian Caillon danced their Foxtrot to The Way You Look Tonight from the movie Swing Time again for the judges.
After both couples had danced a second time, the Strictly judges delivered their verdicts, with Craig, Motsi and Anton all choosing to save Balvinder.
Head Judge Shirley Ballas – who this week was the judge with the casting vote – said that she would also have chosen to save Balvinder and Julian, should she have been required to vote.
When asked by Tess Daly about their time on the show, a tearful Ross said: “I have loved every single minute of it. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, all the people who voted – they’ve been amazing.
“I want to thank everyone here in this room, backstage, the judges, the crew – every single person here has made me so, so welcome.
“And, I want to thank a very special lady who has been with me through it all and has been absolutely everything: she’s been a mentor, teacher, carer…
“I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show. Thank you judges for all your remarks.”
Tess then turned to Jowita and said “Jowita, you called Ross ‘Your King’”.
Jowita then said: “And I still stand by it! Thank you so much for all of your work. For everything you have done during rehearsals.
“We laugh a lot – but we also cried! Thank you so much, and I hope I’m going to be a little part in your life forever.”

One wrote on X: “Right decision but surprised bal was there. Other dances were not as good as hers.
“The heavy criticism from Shirley was out of order. And the lower marks made her vulnerable.”
Another added: “Definitely a shocker that Balvinder was in the bottom, but not a surprise Ross was there. Correct decision by the judges though.”
A third tweeted: “Bal in the bottom 2 is crazy work. Shirley fully to blame for her scores and criticisms.”
Meanwhile a fourth raged: “I can’t believe Balvinder was in the dance off!! Her dance wasn’t perfect tonight but it was still beautiful, I can’t believe that!!”
