About the SACAA Internship Programme 2026
The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is offering a 12-month internship programme for graduates seeking practical, on-the-job experience. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work within SACAA departments and gain valuable skills needed for career development in aviation, governance, administration, and technology.
This programme is aimed at empowering young graduates and improving workplace readiness through hands-on exposure to real industry tasks.
Responsibilities
As an SACAA intern, your duties will include:
- Preparing documents
- Collating information for reporting
- Packaging documentation for meetings and departmental engagements
- Circulating departmental information and maintaining accurate records
- Receiving and relaying documentation to relevant recipients
- Maintaining an efficient filing system for accurate information retrieval
- Screening, classifying and recording documents
- Coordinating departmental functions and meetings
- Ensuring all documents are properly filed
- Performing any adhoc duties as required
Requirements
Applicants must have a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following (or related) fields:
- Business Administration
- Business Management
- Cyber Security
- Information Technology
- LLB
- Office Administration
- Office Management
- Public Administration
