New Balance is switching things up this Fall 2025 with a fresh take on the 1906R, ditching the usual layers for a cleaner, no-stitch look.
The “No Sew” pack drops in two minimal-yet-bold colorways—Slate Grey and Black—designed for retro heads and modern minimalists alike.
This version keeps the trusted 1906R tech but swaps traditional overlays for a slick synthetic upper wrapped in grid patterns. The shoe still brings heat with performance-backed features like ACTEVA LITE cushioning, ABZORB SBS heel support, and N-ergy shock absorption. It’s a lightweight beast built for daily city moves.
The “Grey/Black” edition delivers layered grey tones across the top, contrasted by black accents on the lining and outsole. Reflective touches and a TPU heel counter give it that street-ready functionality, especially in low light. Pull-toggle laces add a utilitarian edge.
Underfoot, you’ve got a rugged rubber sole for grip on any terrain, while the midsole keeps transitions smooth and impact low.
The New Balance 1906R ‘No Sew Pack’ is available at Shelflife (in-store and online).
The retail price is set at R 3,399.00.
