Siyanqoba Ngamandla Holdings is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2026 academic year.
Bursary Closing Date: 7 October 2025
Location Preference: Mpumalanga (Emalahleni and Lekwa Local Municipalities), but students from other areas may also apply.
Fields of Study Covered
Bursaries will be awarded in the following fields:
- Human Resources Management
- Mining Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (mining-related)
- Occupational Health and Safety
- Procurement
What the Bursary Covers
The Siyanqoba bursary provides financial support for:
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation
Additional benefits:
- Vacation work opportunities during holidays
- Potential post-graduation employment with Siyanqoba Ngamandla Holdings
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be in Matric (2025) or have completed Matric
- Be studying or intending to study in one of the listed fields
- Have a minimum overall average of 65%
- Be enrolled/accepted/provisionally accepted at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
- Demonstrate a strong interest in the mining or engineering industry
⚠️ Preference: Students from Mpumalanga (Emalahleni and Lekwa Local Municipalities) will be prioritised.
