- Ndamase has engaged law enforcement to seek formal protection, asserting that “influence does not equal consent.”
Prominent South African personality Mihlali Ndamase has issued a public plea for safety, alleging a sustained campaign of harassment and intimidation by a man she reportedly rejected.
In an official statement released via her social media channels, Ndamase named the individual as Michael Brits.
She detailed a “frightening” escalation of behaviour over several months, claiming that Brits has followed her to her workplace, monitored her movements in public spaces, and even approached her family members.
The influencer expressed grave concerns for her life, stating that she chose to speak out because “silence has become unsafe.”
Beyond physical stalking, Ndamase accused the individual of orchestrating a smear campaign by paying for unauthorised photographs and feeding “fiction” to digital tabloids to damage her reputation.
