A year after they took part on MAFS UK, the drama between Nathan Campbell and Lacey Martin lives on. Arguably, theirs has been one of the messiest journeys in the show’s history. Now, Nathan has told The Tab all about the last time he and Lacey met up, and it sounds… awkward.
Nathan and Lacey were on MAFS UK 2024. For the majority of the experiment, it looked as though they were going to make it work. They made it to final vows, but it all turned real sour after the show wrapped.
It was revealed they’d split after the show. Then, things got really messy. Nathan and Lacey began slating each other back and forth, and the reunion episode turned into nothing but Lacey going for Nathan. They both accused one another of being on the show for fame. It was angry interviews all over the place.
Things since haven’t got any better, and they still aren’t on speaking terms. Talking exclusively to The Tab on behalf of Heart Bingo, Nathan shared the last time he and Lacey crossed paths.

‘She tried to hold my hand’
When asked where he and Lacey stand now, Nathan defiantly said: “She’s blocked and deleted and that’s the way it’ll stay forever!”. He then opened up more about a recent run-in they had, at a red carpet event. He called it “so bizarre” and recalled Lacey tried to hold his hand, despite his new girlfriend being in the audience.
“I was in Ibiza in July just minding my own business and she happened to be there at the same time,” Nathan began. “I threw up a little Q&A on my story, and someone asked me how I’d react if I saw her, and I just replied with the running emoji. It was just a bit of a joke. I’ve tried to keep quiet about us in the press and what went down, but she has been doing lives on social media with her sister and family throwing digs my way.
“Then we actually bumped into each other at a red carpet event soon after, and she came up to me and said ‘ohh don’t run away from me’. Her and her sister then went into me a bit, so I walked away. But then we all had to go up on stage and she held her hand out for me to hold. I wasn’t going to be doing that with my missus in the audience. It was so bizarre!”.
After MAFS, Nathan confirmed he’s now dating Love Island 2023 star, Abi Moores.
