South African preacher Joshua Mhlakela has been criticised for falsely predicting the dates of the “Rapture”, not once, but THRICE.
His comments have made international headlines.
PASTOR JOSHUA MAHLAKELA FALSELY PREDICTED THIRD ‘RAPTURE’ DATE
On his YouTube channel, Exodus 2025, Pastor Joshua Mahlakela claimed that he had received a divine message about his third prediction date for the “Rapture.”
The pastor – whose comments have been featured in the New York Post and MailOnline – initially claimed that the Feast of Trumpets – a biblical reference to the end of the world – would take place on 23 or 24 September.
When that did not come to pass, Mhlakela then claimed his vision of “Rapture” was actually following the timeline of the Julian calendar, and not the Gregorian calendar.
Last week, he shared that he had a dream that on 16 or 17 October, “the church would be raptured.”
According to the pastor, the “delay” was God’s way of “testing the hearts of people in the world”.
