Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) Bursaries 2026 – Apply Now

Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) invites eligible students residing within the Royal Bafokeng Nation (North West) to apply for the 2026 RBH Bursary Programme.

This bursary targets young people who want to pursue a Chartered Accountant (CA) career through a BCom Accounting Sciences CA-stream qualification at a SAICA-accredited university.

What the RBH Bursary Covers

Successful applicants will receive full financial support, including:

  • Registration & tuition fees
  • Book allowance
  • Personal allowance
  • Once-off laptop allowance
  • Accommodation and meals (residence) or a living allowance

Additional Benefits

  • Paid vacation work may be offered
  • Mentorship and industry exposure
  • Bursary is awarded annually and may be renewed based on academic performance

Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 9 January 2026. If you do not receive feedback by then, consider your application unsuccessful.


Eligibility Requirements

To apply, you must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be under 35 years old
  • Be unemployed
  • Be currently in Matric (2025) or have already completed Matric
  • Achieve a minimum Level 5 (60–69%) for Mathematics (NOT Maths Lit or Technical Maths)
  • Achieve at least Level 5 for English
  • Achieve at least Level 5 for Accounting
  • Intend to study BCom Accounting Sciences (CA Stream) full-time in 2026
  • Must have applied to a SAICA-recognised public university in South Africa
  • Must be entering 1st year of study in 2026
  • Must NOT receive any NSFAS, bursaries, or financial aid
  • Must reside within the Royal Bafokeng Nation

Required Supporting Documents (Compulsory)

  • Certified ID document (not older than 3 months)
  • Grade 11 results + Matric term 1–3 results
  • Certified Matric Certificate (once available)
  • Proof of provisional or final acceptance from a SAICA-accredited university
  • Proof of residence – Lekwalo la Kgosana (not older than 3 months)
  • Short CV
  • Motivational letter

Note: All documents will undergo strict verification.
