- Released Epstein emails allege Donald Trump spent hours with one of Epstein’s victims at his house.
- Democrats released the emails, intensifying scrutiny of the President’s past ties to Epstein.
- Republicans are pushing for the release of all Epstein-related files amid growing political tension.
A released email from Jeffrey Epstein has revealed that Donald Trump allegedly spent hours with one of Epstein’s victims at his house.
The emails were reportedly released by Democrats on Wednesday, raising serious questions for the United States President.
Trump has repeatedly denied any knowledge of the sex trafficking activities of his former friend, who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in prison.
Trump has accused Democrats of attempting to deflect from their own failings.
Pressure on the President intensified later on Wednesday when Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson announced that he would hold a vote next week to force the Justice Department to release the remaining Epstein files.
In an April 2011 message to longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein claimed that Trump spent significant time with a woman whom the White House later identified as Epstein’s main accuser, Virginia Giuffre.
“I want you to realise that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump,” Epstein wrote, adding that the victim “spent hours at my house with him; he has never once been mentioned.”
Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking after Epstein’s death, replied.
“I have been thinking about that…”
Trump has since urged Republicans not to “fall into a trap.”
