When he’s not on MAFS, or cosying up to other reality TV stars like Dani Hope, intruder groom Reiss is a painter and decorator with Desire Decor – but that’s not his only passion.
As per his Instagram, the MAFS season 10 groom also has a motivational page called Reiss Motivates. Though he won’t get points for originality when it comes to the name, the Insta page claims to “Motivate, inspire, personalise.”
“Motivate, inspire, personalise. Create meaningful art by adding your own empowering message. Perfect for gifts, milestones, or daily inspiration,” the bio reads.
The tagline would suggest that it’s a business of some kind, with people maybe having the art printed on merch, but there’s no external link or website for Reiss Motivates.
Here’s the artwork, ranked by how unmotivated they made me.
This one is last because I don’t get it

I’ve Googled it, I’ve meditated on it, and short of contacting a large mammal expert, I don’t know how to understand this supposedly motivational quote. It’s in quote marks too, so did the stock image of an elephant say this?

“Goals are achieved by those who refuse to give up,” Reiss from MAFS wrote in this quote.
The picture, which was surrounded by a jarring array of dollar signs and spray paint, showed Scrooge McDuck, whose only real goal was being a super-rich assh*le.
What’s with the duck fascination?

“No pain, no gain” was cool when it was popularised by Jane Fonda in the ’80s, but not so much in 2025.
Erm, why is the most famous gangsta in history on a motivational quote?

Alongside a picture of what looked to be Al Capone, the mobster believed to be responsible for over 200 deaths, Reiss wrote: “If you are not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.”
This one is just so cliche

“If it were easy, everybody would do it” is perhaps the most cliché motivational quote of all time. If it’s not on a mug in Home Sense, it’s a poster in your dentist’s office.
‘Sky above, Earth below, peace within’

The irony of using an AI-generated picture of a beautiful landscape, which artificial intelligence destroys, is apparently lost on Reiss from MAFS.
Your mum would LOVE this one

If you think the message of Peter Pan is about staying young forever, I’m sorry to say you’ve missed the point of a story aimed at kids.
‘There’s no time like the present’

I’m personally just over this quote. The present SUCKS. I would much rather go back to ancient Greece and eat grapes.
MAFS’ Reiss says ‘impossible is for the unwilling’

No, some things are just impossible: Billionaires choosing to end world hunger, men not posting a picture with the fish they caught, and Divarni and Julia-Ruth making it to the end of MAFS season 10.
‘One day, all of your hard work will pay off’

In a post about hard work, Reiss used AI artwork? Again, the irony.
I get the premise, but nah

“Be savage, not average” is good on paper, but I would much rather be average than someone who is wildly unlikable. The bull picture doesn’t help; am I supposed to be chasing Spanish people through Pamplona?
The picture choice is questionable

While the quote itself isn’t that bad, though it is more heartwarming than motivational, choosing a picture of the Joker is odd. He disfigured himself, or if you’re going by the movies, his father did it.
This motivational quote is a little sassy

“Bees don’t waste their time explaining to flies that honey is better then shit,” this quote reads.
Ignoring the improper use of then/than, this one just doesn’t hold up in court. It might be a popular phrase, but both flies and bees are incredibly important for the environment. Sure, one is more glam than the other, but glamour is not always all it’s cracked up to be. I’m copywriting that last bit before he turns it into more AI slop.
Okay, this one isn’t that bad

No notes on this one because it is important to be nice. Good work, Reiss.
Omg, a Reiss motivational quote I don’t hate

AI artwork aside (I like the colours, sue me), this one actually has quite a nice message about standing in your own way. Not sure what Homer Simpson has to do with it, but you win some, you lose some.
This is the best, but that’s not saying much

Though still incredibly cliche, it’s fully like he typed “motivational quotes” into ChatGPT; this one is actually pretty solid, bar the odd picture choice.
