The college, operating under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), will conduct online registrations and compulsory induction programmes during January 2026.

2026 Online Registration Dates at Port Elizabeth TVET College
Tuesday, 13 January 2026
2025 Matriculants – N4 Online Registration
This registration date is specifically for new N4 students who completed matric in 2025 and are enrolling for N4 programmes.
12 – 13 January 2026
Report 191 Engineering – Returning Students Online Registration
Returning Engineering students registered under Report 191 (NATED) must complete their online registration during this period.
13 – 14 January 2026
NC(V) Returning Students Online Registration
All returning NC(V) students are required to register online on these dates.
2026 Induction and Orientation Programme Dates
12 – 15 January 2026
Induction / Orientation Programme for NC(V) Level 2 Students
This induction is compulsory for new NC(V) Level 2 students and forms part of their introduction to college life, academic expectations and student support services.
15 – 16 January 2026
Induction / Orientation Programme for All Returning Students
All returning students, across programmes, are required to attend the induction sessions scheduled for these dates.
14 – 16 January 2026
N4 Induction and Orientation Programme
All newly registered N4 students must attend the induction programme during this period.
When Do Engineering Studies Classes Start in 2026?
📌 Trimester 2 Engineering Studies classes commence on Wednesday, 14 January 2026.
Students are advised to ensure that registration and induction are completed before classes begin.
