A NEWLY-WED couple has been found dead inside a car – just days before they were supposed to celebrate their anniversary.
Brandon and Rachel Dumovich were found with a gunshot wound inside a parked vehicle on October 6.

The couple, who met while they were in middle school, tied the knot last October after around two years of dating.
But, a cop found them dead when he spotted a car that had its hazard lights on.
The car was found in a residential area of Harvard, Illinois – around 75 miles from Chicago.
But, cops in the area didn’t receive a call from any locals.
Rachel, 29, was behind the wheel while Brandon, 30, was in the passenger seat, according to the CBS affiliate WIFR-TV.
Officers also found a gun inside the couple’s car.
The husband and wife were found dead at 11:45pm local time, but hours before, Rachel posted a cryptic social media post.
“Forever chasing sunsets,” she wrote.
“Wishing we were back in Greece.”
She also changed her Facebook profile picture to a picture of the couple.
In November, Rachel shared photos of herself and Brandon enjoying Santorini.
‘HONEYMOON WAS A BLAST’
The couple were seen beaming in snaps, and Rachel shared pictures of the stunning sunsets and idyllic landscapes.
“Life’s been a little crazy lately, but the honeymoon was a blast,” she reflected in a Facebook post.
“Wishing we could get away again right about now.
“Highlights include the sunset dinner cruise, Brandon getting the ATV stuck and meeting all the strays.”
Brandon announced the couple’s engagement in July 2023, sharing a picture of them standing on a wooden pier.
In the tender snap, Rachel showed off her engagement ring with a massive smile across her face, with Brandon holding onto her waist and grinning widely.
He popped the question while the couple were visiting Big Cedar Lake in Slinger, Wisconsin.
Brandon and Rachel had been friends for more than a decade and a half.
She revealed that he caught her attention when she stole cologne from his locker, per The Knot.
Rachel was a varsity athlete in cheerleading and track while in high school, according to a family obit.
She graduated with a business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin.
She was described as someone who was known for her “drive and ambition.”
“With her exuberant spirit, quick wit, and unfiltered humor, she brought energy and laughter to every room she entered,” relatives said.
Rachel was someone who loved to travel, cook, and enjoy life by the lake.
Cops have ruled the deaths do not appear to be suspicious and there’s no danger to the public.
