About the Internship
The DC Internship is designed for energetic and motivated graduates eager to build a career in logistics and distribution. Interns will be placed at the new Johannesburg Distribution Centre, where they will assist with testing operational processes, evaluating system performance, and ensuring full operational readiness before large-scale rollout.

Purpose of the Role
To support the Distribution Centre testing team by validating operational processes, systems, and infrastructure prior to full-scale launch. Interns will help document workflows, identify inefficiencies, and provide feedback to improve DC readiness and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end testing of DC processes.
- Validate system functionality and document results.
- Record test outcomes, identify anomalies, and suggest process improvements.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for optimisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Contribute to training simulations and onboarding readiness exercises.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards during testing.
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic data analysis tools.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Advantageous:
- Previous exposure to warehouse or supply chain environments.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or ERP systems.
