Internship Programme: Water & Sanitation (Infrastructure Services)
Mossel Bay Municipality has announced an exciting Internship Programme: Water & Sanitation within the Infrastructure Services Directorate. This contractual internship opportunity is aimed at unemployed South African graduates who have completed a three-year Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field and are seeking practical workplace experience aligned to their qualification.
Preference will be given to applicants residing within the Mossel Bay Municipal boundaries.

Internship Duration and Stipend
- Contract Duration:
Twelve (12) months, with the option to extend for a further 12–24 months, up to a maximum of three (3) years in total. - Monthly Stipend:
R9 274.85 per month
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree (minimum NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering or related/relevant field
- Must be in possession of a completed qualification at the date of application
- Fluent in at least two (2) official languages of the Western Cape
- Computer literate (MS Office applications)
- Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual vehicle)
- Must meet academic requirements for the advertised field
- Must not have previously been employed as an Intern in the Public Sector
- Willingness to work overtime

Selection and Screening Process
