About the Morton and Partners Bursary Programme
The Morton and Partners Bursary 2026 is designed to assist deserving students who demonstrate a strong academic record and a passion for diagnostic imaging. The bursary aims to build future professionals in Radiography and Sonography, ensuring access to quality education and contributing to South Africa’s growing medical imaging sector.

The bursary is available for studies in the following fields at CPUT:
- Radiography
- Ultrasound (Sonography)
Bursary Coverage
The bursary provides financial assistance for:
- Tuition fees
- Uniforms
- Prescribed textbooks
All bursary recipient selections are made by the Morton and Partners Bursary Committee.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Morton and Partners Bursary 2026, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Reside within Cape Town, Western Cape.
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Be studying or intending to study towards a Radiography or Ultrasound qualification in 2026.
- Be accepted, provisionally accepted, or on the waiting list to study at CPUT.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Be available for an interview if shortlisted.
- Be able to travel to and from Morton and Partners’ various branches across the Western Cape (West Coast, CBD, Southern Suburbs) and Richards Bay.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit clear, certified copies of the following:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Full Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivational letter (explaining why you deserve the bursary)
- Matric certificate or latest results if awaiting final marks (certified copy)
- Full academic record and most recent results, if currently studying (certified copy)
- CPUT acceptance letter for 2026 (for first-year students)
