Miss Polo Universe Africa 2025 has announced its Top 10 contestants. These ladies will compete for the crown at the Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, on 9 November.
This marks the inaugural edition of Miss Polo Universe Africa, a prestigious platform that blends diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.
MISS POLO UNIVERSE AFRICA
The event, themed ‘Crown Your Purpose,’ aims to spotlight women whose influence goes beyond beauty, promoting South Africa’s cultural and economic presence on the global stage.
According to CEO Palesa Matjekane, Miss Polo Universe Africa is not just about glamour but about leadership and transformation.
“These inspiring young women have set a high standard of excellence, grace and intelligence,” she said. “We’re not crowning beauty queens – we’re launching ambassadors for South Africa’s trade and culture.”
MISS POLO UNIVERSE TOP 10
The Top 10 finalists exemplify confidence, intellect, and social consciousness, according to South African Lifestyle.
They include Lwandle Maluva Ngwenya (Western Cape), Monyaka Mohapi (Eastern Cape), and Siyamthanda Mkhalipi (Gauteng).
Ayanda Masuku (Mpumalanga), Vuyolwethu Sondlo (Gauteng), Kefiloe Mary Kolopang (Gauteng), and Naledi Amanda Dube (Gauteng) are also finalists.
Other finalists include Vega Nova Taljaard (Gauteng), Thato Mosia (Gauteng), and Kgaogelo Mary Kolopang (Mpumalanga).
BEAUTY BOOT CAMP
The finalists will undergo a boot camp in Johannesburg. This featured international protocol and diplomacy sessions, entrepreneurship masterclasses with UAE business leaders.
They will also undergo global media training and social impact project development.
The pageant’s strategic partnership with the Royal Family of Dubai, led by Ms Zainan Al Taher, will open doors to international trade networks.
There will also be mentorship opportunities valued in the millions of rand.
THE GRAND FINALE
The initiative positions South African women at the intersection of culture and commerce. This aligns with the country’s broader goals for economic growth through international collaboration.
Three winners will be crowned as Miss Polo Universe in Durban before flying to Dubai for the world grand finale on 29 November.
