Mia le Roux, the outgoing Miss South Africa, has formally concluded her reign, sharing a deeply moving farewell message reflecting on her year and looking ahead to her next chapter.
The beauty queen expressed profound gratitude and hope as she takes her final walk. Le Roux thanked those who supported her journey, giving a special tribute to designer Anel Botha.
She praised Botha for “stitching her story” into her final gown, describing her as a masterful storyteller who captured the “essence of the woman behind the dress.”
The highlight of her message was the warm tribute to her successor, the new Miss South Africa, Qhawekazi Mazaleni.
Le Roux described Mazaleni as a powerful, authentic, and purpose-driven leader, whose character and advocacy will further enhance the Miss South Africa legacy.
“My heart is bursting with pride and excitement for your year ahead,” Le Roux wrote to her successor.
Signing off from her official title as Miss SA 2024, Mia le Roux concluded by stating she is now “signing up” for her next life chapter, embracing new beginnings after a successful year as the nation’s queen.
