Messy! Black Coffee’s sister hints Enhle won’t get a cent

Black Coffee’s sister has boldly claimed that his ex-wife, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, will walk away with nothing from their divorce settlement. This comes after the Johannesburg High Court ordered the DJ – real name Nkosinathi Maphumalo – to pay spousal support to the mother of his two children.

The 49-year-old has since moved on to new girlfriend, Victoria Gonzalez.

BLACK COFFEE’S SISTER MAKES SHOCK COMMENT

In a screenshot posted by gossip bloggers, Maphepha Ndaba, Black Coffee’s sister, Lungie Maphumulo, took a swipe at his ex-wife, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa.

The DJ’s sibling – who works for a charity in his name – commented under an Instagram post about the former couple’s divorce ruling.

As seen in the screenshot, she posted, “Good luck to her. From where I’m standing, I don’t think she will win this one. But let me wish her well.”

Maphumalo – who is currently on vacation with Black Coffe – also posted several laughing face emojis.

The screenshot was later reposted by Enhle’s mother, Bongi Mlotshwa. The actress’s mother posted, “Wow, Enhle! I don’t know how you are here.”

She added, “The Creator of heaven and earth, Lord, keep protecting my daughter”.

HOW MUCH COULD ENHLE MBALI GET?

Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa’s divorce has been a hot topic on social media, with many speculating how much the latter would receive in a settlement.

The former couple married in a traditional wedding ceremony in 2011. In 2017, they held a white wedding, at which Enhle reportedly signed a prenup. They officially parted ways in 2019.

Enhle’s attorney, Jerry Nkeli, Coffee lost his bid to declare an antenuptial contract (ANC) signed six years after their traditional wedding valid.

According to South African law, a customary marriage, via a traditional ceremony, is automatically in community of property, which is classified as a joint estate.

In the absence of a divorce judgment, it is unclear if the undisclosed spousal support ruled in favour of Enhle was mutually agreed upon or acted upon by the court.

It is also unclear if spousal support will accompany a division of assets in the divorce settlement, as practiced in community of property, or if there was a forfeiture of benefits, where one party would not be granted their half-share of assets for various reasons.

According to various online reports, DJ Black Coffee’s net worth is $60 million, or R1 billion.
