The festive season is nearly upon us, and with it comes the return of the annual Cape Open Air music festival.
Established in 2022, the annual open-air concert is set to rock the popular beachside suburb of Muizenberg in Cape Town this December.
With the best of South African musicians taking the stage this summer, this event is guaranteed to be unforgettable and sizzling hot!
CAPE OPEN AIR: ALL THE DETAILS
The concert will take place at Muizenberg Park on Camp Road on Saturday, 13 December 2025. It will start at 12:00 and end at 20:00.
Tickets start from R250 (excluding the R30 booking fee) and are available to purchase from www.webtickets.co.za. Admission is free for children under the age of six.
Organisers encourage you to bring your own packed picnic baskets, as well as picnic cutlery (barring sharp knives), camping chairs, blankets, cushions and small beach umbrellas.
You are not allowed to bring liquids such as alcohol and water into the venue. Instead, you can bring along empty bottles or flasks, which you can fill up for free from a designated water point.
JEREMY LOOPS TO HEADLINE CONCERT
At Cape Open Air, you can expect an exciting musical line-up consisting of legendary and upcoming talents.
This year’s concert headliner is Cape Town’s very own singing-songwriting star, Jeremy Loops.
“Cape Open Air’s turned into this little gem of the Deep South,” he said. ‘Each year it grows a bit more, but it’s still got that local heart. There’s nothing like making music in Muizenberg Park, just above the ocean, surrounded by friends and familiar faces.”
In addition to Loops, four other talented acts will be performing at the concert. They are:
- Desmond and the Tutus
- LUUKHANYO and The Hii Rollers
- Giuliette Price
- Manny Walters
