THE family of a 56-year-old man who tragically died in an industrial incident have paid poignant tribute to him.
Andrew Blundell sadly passed away after a “heavy object fell on him” at the Shunfa Construction in Kirkdale, Liverpool on Tuesday evening.

“Andrew, known to his family as Drew and his friends as Andy was a kind loving brother, uncle and friend whose generous spirit enriched the lives of everyone he met,” the victim’s family said.
“He was much loved by all of his family and friends who are devastated by his loss.
“We will miss him beyond words.”
As reported by the Liverpool Echo, the workers had been unloading marble slabs when disaster struck.
Cops arrested three people on suspicion of manslaughter and investigations are ongoing.
Two men aged 32 and 34 and a woman aged 58 have since been granted conditional bail.
The scene remained cordoned off yesterday evening.
Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth from Merseyside Police said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of this man as they continue to grieve at this tragic time.
“A joint investigation into the circumstances of this incident continues between Merseyside Police and the Health and Safety Executive.
“We are still in the early stages of investigating this incident and we are determined to get answers about what happened.
“If you have any information, please let us know as it could be vital to the ongoing investigation.”
A HSE spokesperson added: “We are supporting Merseyside Police with an investigation into this incident.”
