FORMER Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere is the odds-on favourite for the Luton Town job.
That’s according to bookmaker Coral, who have installed the 33-year-old at 4/5 to replace Matt Bloomfield at Kenilworth Road.

- Russell Martin – 5/1

The Hatters sacked Bloomfield following Saturday’s loss at Stevenage, which left the League One side in 11th position.
Bloomfield had replaced Rob Edwards in January but was unable to prevent a second successive relegation, with the team finishing 22nd in the Championship.
Having started the campaign as favourites for an immediate promotion, Luton Town now find themselves mid-table, with five wins and five losses from their opening 11 matches.
But who will be tasked with turning their season around?

Coral believe that responsibility will fall to Jack Wilshere, pricing him at odds-on 4/5 to take the helm.
Wilshere turned down the opportunity to manage Arsenal’s Under-21s back in August and is reportedly eager to begin his career in permanent senior management.
He ended last season as interim manager at Norwich City, overseeing one win and one draw from his two-match stint.
Alex Lawless has been named interim manager at Luton Town and is priced at 5/1 to get the job on a full-time basis.
He shares the same odds as Russell Martin, who is now a free agent after a disastrous spell in charge of Rangers.
Leyton Orient’s Richie Wellens follows at 8/1, with former Swindon Town, Notts County, and Swansea City manager Luke Williams next at 10/1.
“Jack Wilshere is now odds-on to pick up his first permanent managerial job at Luton. The former Arsenal and England midfielder has been heavily backed to replace Matt Bloomfield at the Hatters,” said Coral’s John Hill.
