DARTS star Cameron Menzies has revealed that the poor form of his beloved football team affects his mentality as he prepares for tournaments.
The Scottish thrower is a staunch supporter of Glasgow outfit Rangers, who have slumped to 8th in the Scottish Premiership after winning just one of their seven league games.

Menzies was hesitant to say that his frustrations go so far as to affect his gameplay, but admitted that he approaches practice differently when he is in a ‘huff’ over his club’s performances.
He told press: “It affects my attitude in practice, because I just sit there in a huff.
“Especially this year, I’ve had to huff a lot with Rangers this year because it has been terrible.
“I wouldn’t say it affects my game but maybe my mood going into practice.
“Obviously it’s a team I love – it’s a part of my life – whenever I get the chance I try and go and watch them, but at this moment in time it’s a bad part of my life because it’s not going well
“It’s like one of those toxic ex-girlfriends, you get rid of them but you still cannot help but keep in touch.”
Aside from their torrid league form, Rangers have lost both of their Europa League matches to start the season.
The string of poor results led to the sacking of manager Russell Martin on Sunday, just 123 days after his appointment.

But Menzies was hesitant to lay all the fault at the feet of the former Southampton boss.
He continued: “Maybe the manager is to blame, but have you seen some of the players? They came from the Championship, I thought the Championship was good!
“They have come here to Scotland and they’ve failed. At the moment anyway. Hopefully I am wrong.
“The team as a whole is hard to watch, but unfortunately I still watch.”
If the fiasco at Ibrox has thrown Menzies off his game, he is doing a good job at hiding it.
He handily beat world No. 8 Chris Dobey in his opening match of the World Grand Prix in Leicester on Monday.
He will face Englishman Rob Cross on Wednesday in the tournament’s round of 16 to keep himself in the running for the £120,000 jackpot.
