Product details

The Cien Beauty Hair Straightening Brush will be available for £16.99 for non-reward members.

For shoppers who have the Lidl Plus app, this buy will set them back just £12.99.

While the gadget lands in stores on Sunday, October 19, Lidl Plus members have until Saturday, October 25 to avail of the offer.

The two-in-one device consists of a hair brush and straightener, with high quality ceramic-coated bristles for smoothing hair.

It has a temperature range of 100 to 200 degrees Celsius and an opertaing voltage of 220-240V.

The hair straightening brush comes with a 360-degree swivelling cord measuring 190cm for easy use.

There is also a safety shut-off after 45 minutes and a hanger loop to prevent heat damage.

High-end buy

The Lidl buy closely resembles the much pricier GHD Glide Hot Brush, £179.

Described as the high-end brand’s “first professional hot brush”, this gadget is said to “tame and smooth dry hair quickly and effortlessly”.

GHD refers to this buy as “the brush that broke the internet” and advertised it as speeding up the styling process.

“Spend more time in bed doing what you love the most thanks to the GHD glide,” the product description read.

“Perfect for second day hair, the ceramic technology with ioniser heats up the brush consistently to the optimum styling temperature of 185ºC for guaranteed healthier looking hair.”
