Influencer Kate, 26, had been dating Liam for two years when he died.

She had been with him in Argentina until two days before his death.

Since his death, Kate has shared several videos and pictures with the late star.

However, last month she used AI technology to produce new snaps of her and Liam.

In the photos she is seen cuddling up to the late star, in various poses.

Kate wrote on one of the snaps: “Thanks for making these.

“AI is such a blessing and a curse.”

According to sources, these pictures have not been received well by Liam’s family and close friends.

A former colleague of the singer told the Mail that he felt her decision to post the AI pics was “distasteful” and “unhelpful” to his family.

The friend said to the outlet: “Who does this? Of course she is fully entitled to remember Liam, but this all feels a bit much.

“It’s surely triggering for those who loved Liam.

“There is some sympathy for Kate but creating a photo of them together so soon after his death is completely strange and also upsetting for so many who loved Liam.”

Continuing the source said: “His parents are normal people, a normal family who don’t play the fame game, they don’t have time for influencers or TikTokers.

“They saw what fame did to him and they don’t want any part of it.

“They will grieve their son for ever, privately!”

While another friend said of Kate’s posts about Liam over the last year: “Nobody has a problem with Kate being upset at Liam dying, but every time she shares a picture or video of him it helps her brand, gets her new followers.

“All those things help make someone’s profile bigger and bigger.”

However, another source added: “Nobody blames Kate for Liam’s death,.

“On the contrary, she was at his side in his last two years during which he had some very happy times.

“But Liam’s anniversary should be about Liam, a day to respectfully remember him.”

EMOTIONAL VIDEO

Meanwhile, earlier today Kate marked the anniversary of the last time she saw her Liam, with an emotional TikTok video.

Addressing fans, she said: “One year ago. today on October 12th was the last day that I spent with Liam and I come on here not to cry.

“I feel honestly extremely numb today. I woke up.

“I’ve actually weirdly never felt I feel like this numb. I actually think somebody could slap me across the face and I wouldn’t even be fazed.

“So if I don’t seem like I have a ton of emotions that is why. but I wanted to make this video because I wanted to express how important it is to really remind your loved ones how much you love them.

“I know I always say it But you never know what tomorrow brings. the last day that I was with Liam in Argentina before I left the car was in the driveway.

“I was sitting on the couch just expressing to him how much i’m gonna miss him how much I love him like, honestly, it’s so weird to look back at because it was such a long heartfelt goodbye.

“He looked at me and he said, “Um Kaitlin, you’re gonna miss your flight, you’re acting like this is the last time you’re ever gonna see me again.’

“And little did I know, it literally was the last time I got to see him.”

Starting to choke back the tears, Kate said: “I’m, so so glad that me and Liam had that last goodbye the way it was.

“Just remember you never know what tomorrow brings and tell your loved ones that you love them.

“Hold them a little bit extra closer today. Bye guys.”

LOSING LIAM

Kate had been staying with Liam in Argentina but flew back to America before his fatal accident.

In an interview with The Sun earlier this year she revealed his death “still doesn’t feel fully real”.

She added: “Love is so optimistic, and you just hope that everything will work out at the end.

“Obviously if I knew, if I could see into the future, I would never have left Argentina.”

KATE’S HEARTACHE

Kate has had an incredibly tough time, following Liam’s shock death.

In March, she discussed how she was finding life and dealing with the pain of such an enormous loss.

Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine, she said: “I’m going through this healing journey.

“Sometimes it’s hard for me to get out of bed in the morning and something I don’t want to do.

“But I have this responsibility and this obligation that I am almost in a way… I have no choice.

“I have to get out of bed (for my dog) Nala and whether it’s a five-minute walk or 20-minute walk first thing in the morning.

“Either way, it just wakes me up and refreshes my mind instead of laying in bed all day just scrolling through social media or old photos, it gets me out of bed and really, really helps my mindset and my mental health.”
