Liam Gallagher drops biggest clue yet about Oasis gigs in 2026 with telltale comment

LIAM Gallagher has dropped the biggest clue yet about Oasis gigs in 2026, after the band completed their sell out UK tour.

The iconic Britpop group, who made their triumphant stage comeback this year after a 16-year hiatus, played to approximately 1.4million fans across the country in cities including London, Cardiff and their hometown of Manchester.

But despite their historic run of shows ending in a huge Wembley Stadium gig last month, Liam, 53, has continued adding fuel to speculation that Oasis have lined up more gigs for next year – with the cheeky vocalist dropping the biggest hint yet on his X account.

In a recent exchange on the platform, an Oasis fan account posted: “How the f**k did The Hindu Times not make it on the setlist?”

Liam, who regularly responds to fans on X, replied: “Chill Winston it’s not even HALF TIME yet it’s a tour of 2 half’s”.

His response immediately caused hysteria among Oasis fans, who have already had multiple easter eggs dropped by the group’s vocalist over the past few weeks.

A screenshot of the post was shared on Reddit, where fans have been expressing their excitement over the potentially imminent announcement.

One wrote: “Classic Liam, itching to please the fans! Cmon then, spit it out already. I need to know when the tickets drop so I can take a day off work.”

Another commented: “Liam is dying to let the cat out of the bag!”

While one joked: “How on earth did he keep a reunion tour mostly a secret for at least a year?”

Liam has been dropping more hints than ever before and seemingly confirmed Oasis would be remaining together for 2026 during their Wembley Stadium gig over the weekend.

Before Champagne Supernova closed the band’s set at their final Wembley Stadium gig, Liam praised fans for making the comeback happen and told them there was more to come.

He said: “I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f**king map. Champagne Supernova. See you next year!”

Two days later, eagle-eyed Oasis fans caught a glimpse of a late-night post from Liam, seemingly hinting a brand new Oasis announcement is coming.

Liam tweeted, then deleted, a post in roman numerals: “MMXXV11.”

It was quickly pulled public view, fans have been left assured that that star is hinting at an announcement to come in November 2025.

The Sun revealed that the band, who performed to around 1.4million fans across the UK and Ireland this year, have been offered four huge shows at Knebworth House next year[/caption]

In August, The Sun revealed Liam and Noel had been offered four huge shows at Knebworth House next year — to mark the 30th anniversary of their two historic concerts there in 1996.

If the rockers take up the offer, the shows would see them beating their former foe Robbie Williams’ achievement of playing the iconic Hertfordshire venue three times.

There have also been whispers of a possible residency at the Etihad Stadium, home of their beloved Manchester City.

A well-placed insider, who works for a major promoter, said: “I could see all of this happening.

“There is so much on the table but it’s whether Noel and Liam want to do it.”

Those close to the band previously said Noel and Liam are not considering anything for 2026 – but it appears they’ve had a change of heart.
