Kaizer Chiefs Football Club have moved swiftly to confirm their interim coaching structure following the mutual departure of Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi earlier today.
In a statement released by the club, Chiefs announced that coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will take the reins of the technical team for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.
The duo will be tasked with steering the Soweto giants through the rest of the campaign following the unexpected change in management.
The announcement of the new interim leadership came shortly after a joint media statement from the club and Nabi confirming their separation.
The statement read: “Kaizer Chiefs FC and Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi hereby confirm that, following constructive engagements, they have mutually agreed to conclude their professional relationship on an amicable basis.”
The nature of the “constructive engagements” and the reasons behind the mutual parting of ways were not disclosed by the club.
However, the focus will now shift to the new interim management team to see if they can galvanise the squad and improve the club’s fortunes for the latter half of the season.
