The son of the late Joost van der Westhuizen, Jordan, has turned 22 years old, and fans are more convinced than ever that he looks like his Springbok dad. The brunette, hazel-eyed young man’s mother is Amor Vittone, a singer and actress.
The scrumhalf died in 2017 after a long battle with motor neurone disease. At the time, Jordan was just 13 years old.
JOOST VAN DER WESTHUIZEN’S SON TURNS A YEAR OLDER
On her Facebook account, Amor Vittone sent a heartfelt birthday wish to her son, Jordan van der Westhuizen, who turned 22 on 16 January.
She shared: “22 years of the kindest soul and a spirit that makes me proud beyond words. You are such a special son, full of love, compassion, gentleness, and strength.
“I thank God every day that I get to be your mom”.
With brown hair and hazel eyes, fans of Amor were convinced that Jordan is the spitting image of her late husband, Joost van der Westhuizen.
“He looks just like his dad” and “Handsome like his dad” were among the comments under the post.
Another one read: “Joost’s mini-me”.

Jordan was just 13 years old when Joost died after a battle with motor neurone disease.
After his death, Jordan’s letter to his dad was published by the press.
It read: “Thank you for everything, but most of all for ‘being the best that you can be’. You are the best rugby player in the world! I want to be the best sportsman like you, because you said I must work hard! I will always love you to the moon and back.”
He also added: “Daddy, please tell God that Liverpool must win… You will never walk alone.
SPORT AND MODELLING
Unlike his father Joost’s rugby legacy, Jordan van der Westhuizen has taken up an interest in another ball sport – soccer.
He’s even played for a youth academy abroad.
The die-hard Liverpool supporter shared in a recent TikTok: “I learned all about life with a ball at my feet”.

Jordan is also a professional model, having signed with Ice Model Management.
Last year, Jordan led a special tribute to his dad by watching a Bulls game at Loftus, where his dad once played. Wearing the club’s shirt, Jordan had the words, “Dad Joost” emblazoned across the back.
