WHERE would West Ham be without Jarrod Bowen (£5.2m)?
The 28-year-old is excelling again at the start of this season despite the Hammers’ broader problems and his individual success has translated to Dream Team.

So disappointing were the performances under Graham Potter, the club decided to sack him on Saturday morning, with Nuno Espirito Santo taking charge of Monday night’s trip to Everton.
Fittingly, it was Bowen who scored the visitors’ equaliser at Hill Dickinson Stadium (albeit via a helpful deflection) as the captain will surely be the main man for West Ham’s new manager just as he was for the last few predecessors.
The England international banked nine points to take his overall tally for the season to 54.
The only forwards above him in the rankings right now are Erling Haaland (£7.7m) and Mohamed Salah (£7.3m), the two most expensive assets in the game.
In fact, Bowen is now just one point shy of Liverpool’s Egyptian superstar.
After Monday night’s showing, he averages 7.7 points-per-game in 2025/26 — only Manchester City’s prolific No9 boasts a better rate among players in his position.

Bowen has scored three goals and provided one assist but it’s his all-round game that makes him such an effective performer in the world of Dream Team.
He ranks joint-first in his position for bonus points and joint-fourth for tackles.
And only two forwards have registered more shots on target and big chances created at this stage.
Dig deep into the Stats Centre and you’ll see that he also ranks in the top three in his position for: successful dribbles, accurate crosses, interceptions and fouls won.
These numbers simply reinforce what is abundantly obvious whenever one watches West Ham, Bowen is bloody brilliant.

For several seasons now, Bowen has maintained a high level regardless of West Ham’s form but it will be interesting to see how Nuno’s appointment impacts his returns.
The Portuguese tactician did a magnificent job at Nottingham Forest and was sacked for non-footballing reasons.
He tends to prefer a more defensive, risk-adverse approach but the likes of Chris Wood (£3.8m), Anthony Elanga (£3.3m) and Morgan Gibbs-White (£4.1m) thrived in attack last season.

Nuno’s New Manager Bounce will be tested to the fullest this weekend as the Irons are due to face Arsenal at the Emirates.
However, Bowen has a relatively favourable run of fixtures after the October international break: Brentford (h), Leeds (a), Newcastle (h), Burnley (h).
His Dream Team viability is hindered by the fact West Ham are without European commitments, limiting his schedule — the East Londoners have already been eliminated from the Carabao Cup.
But his points-per-game average of 7.7 means he’s worthy of consideration when his fixtures appear friendly.
