Anton has finally addressed the level of alcohol intake he had on Love Is Blind, and it’s not just him discussing the excessive drinking that appeared to happen this season. He put a lot of it down to nervousness during filming, and co-star Edmond has put his two pence in.
He’s denied that he has an alcohol problem and was drinking a lot more than he would on a typical basis. “The whole experience was nerve-racking. I just want to put it to you guys that I do take accountability for that, it’s not a healthy way of dealing with it,” Anton said.
“Alcoholism, I can see how it look that way, but you guys have to remember that this is four weeks of our lives that is condensed into two hours of camera time. You’re minimising the struggle of the people who are genuinely dealing with an alcohol problem,” he added.

His co-stars piped up, with Joe, who was equally slammed for his amount of drinking at the pool party. He wrote, “Imagine getting drunk on reality tv,” while Edmond commented, “You weren’t the only one drinking a lot that’s for sure. We just didn’t get those edits
.”
Dayo, who also starred on season nine but didn’t get much screen time, said: “It’s always easier to judge behind a screen without the full picture 
.” And the craziest thing is, Anton decided to post a video of him cracking open a beer literally a couple of days later.

Former Love Is Blind star Shayne Jansen commented: “Milk this all the way to a beer sponsorship fool 
,” and even said he “should have made one of these”. And Patrick said on another video: “Bro I knew we only had a couple beers up there!!
